Charity run by the Sage Roofing team

Raising the Roof for Charity

At Sage Roofing, we’re passionate about raising money for the right causes that not only help people but the environment too. This year, we’ve managed to do a lot for charity with a whole heap of events coming up over the next few months.

Already John, one of our estimators has completed the Manchester Marathon, which he ran for the Christie Charity who specialise in cancer research; John managed to raise around £1100.00 and his finishing time was a super 3 hours and 18 minutes setting the bar high for the rest of us!

Next up is Tina our Finance Director, who is going to be running the Two Castles on the 8th  June, this is a ten kilometre run from Warwick castle to Kenilworth castle which will be in aid of Cancer Research.

Following on from Tina, Rebecca (our newest estimator) will be running Pretty Muddy, which is a five kilometre mud run for Race for Life. You’ll be able to find Rebecca getting Pretty Muddy herself on the 21st June.

As well as our employees doing their bit for their chosen charities, Sage has agreed to donate £200.00 to Acorns Children’s Hospice to encourage staff members to obtain their preferred weight in a bid to not only raise money for the fantastic hospice but to encourage staff to get fit and healthy too!

We as a company also have plans to do a sponsored walk around Chipping Camden to raise money for Acorns on the 20th and the 21st  September where we are hoping to walk 30 miles over the two days, with a stop at a pub at the end of each day I’m sure!

Sage are pleased to be able to sponsor all of these efforts. If you want to donate to any of these brilliant causes just send an email to and I will get back to you with a link where it will tell you how you can donate.

Why don’t you start to raise money this year for your chosen charity? Every effort is well appreciated!
