Raising the Roof for Charity Continues!

Rebecca Pretty MuddyEarlier this year we told you about the efforts we made to raise money for charity and I am very pleased to tell you we have managed to raise quite a lot between us!

Tina ran the Two Castles in one hour and 6 minutes on a very hot day and raised £379.00 for Cancer Research. Rebecca traversed through ten different obstacles placed around a five kilometre course at Pretty Muddy (A race for life obstacle course) and raised £400.00 for the charity. Eve and Tina ran the Race for Life 5k and raised an astounding £1045.00! Tina flew in at 26 minutes and Eve albeit power walked round came in at a very respectable 46 minutes.

Next up is my good self! I will be running Tough Mudder which is a 12 mile assault course with 25+ obstacles designed by the SAS, this will be in aid of the charity Help the Heroes and I will be hoping to raise as much money as I can for it! I will be doing this on the 13th of July!

Our company walk for Acorns has now changed to the 11th and 12th of October as mentioned in the previous blog we are hoping to walk 30 miles over two days and the company will donate the amount each member of staff has paid for their room.

We will keep you updated on how much we have raised for the charities after the events have happened! Also if you want to donate to any of these causes email me at: peter@sageroofing.co.uk and I will send you over the relevant link!
